As usual your responses were very helpful.
I think I'll pass on this one and stick with keeping my others in good shape. Having always had hydros I never thought I would ever be interested in gear drive again but after pulling a plow with my Model 72 I have to say that I really enjoyed it.
I do think that I'll stick to my hydros when it comes to mowing. That 1864 is a fantastic mowing machine and I still like the tractor platform over the zero turn.
