The rims are too wide. The sidewall should be more up and down. Not 100% sure....10 inch rim is what you need for a 26-12-12 tire.
This is a 7 inch wide rim.
This is the correct way to measure a rim.
4 ply sidewalls is heavy enough side walls for a garden tractor. I run 2 ply on most of my Cubs.
