I seperate the subframe from the thrower (2 rods/cotterpins)
It makes it a lot easier on this old man.
A 10 minute job once you get the hang of it.
Just make sure the drive shaft splines are aligned so the yokes are in phase, otherwise it will vibrate/shake.
