Yeah, I went on youtube and watched one fully extend/retract, and it looks like the stroke is somewhere between 8-12" though, I think 6" is too short. I'm thinking it could even be 12", just not sure.
EDIT: Went back and watched the youtube
video and you can't see the cylinder I guess, but the blade does move quite a bit. Hopefully someone on here might have one and have the info.
