So, now that I have a smaller pulley on my thrower and need to find a belt that fits , which I did, I may as well buy a dozen. I wonder what belt one of the sources here sells after he sells the smaller speed up pulley. I have to think there are other belts out there made to the heavy duty standards as the cub belt.He would probably have some unhappy customers if he is selling these shredding belts. We run some belts on our equipment at work that are about as heavy duty as you can get.Certainly more abuse than the thrower belts. Cost a bundle also and available in the 29" length needed. I will see how long one lasts with the 3.5" pulley and report back . It should get well abused here in WI. sooner or later. I also said "Heavy Duty" not generic brand x.

Just thinking of the guys who are running the smaller pulleys. I am sure they will be interested in this conversation. Maybe some will post of the durability of the belts they have been running. Unless Cub makes the longer belts , then this is a mute point.
