Well, I made my own box blade. I traded for some 3/8" diamond plate for
the box. It's a little heavier than needed but that was all I could find.
It weighs in at 188lbs right now. After I add a cutting edge to the front
and back it will be more like 210lbs. I'm looking for some 12 or 14" pipe 1/4" thick to make them out of.
It ended up being 46" wide.
I made the scarifiers from 1/2" x 2" flat bar that I have laying around.
They are adjustable and can be raised up and out of the way with out
having to flip them over.
I have only tried it out once, it's been way to wet here to do anything
lately. I did flatten out a couple of dirt piles or should I say mud piles.
I don't have enough traction yet to do much, but I think with enough traction it will work out ok.
I'm working on weights for the front and some wheel weights.
test fitting the draw bar
all welded up
scarifiers made, may add some wider cutting teeth to them if they don't get the job done
on the 189, I'm only getting about 12" of lift after adusting the lift arms. Not sure what to do about that yet.
