I took it off the machine and found the spring steel (pressure plate) collapsed and did not return to its original shape so the clutch was not engaged at all. The machine came with all kinds of extra parts. I have 4 extra pressure plates and there are 2 different styles of plates. I installed the heavier style of pressure plate, but I have no way of testing the clutch until it snows again. Is this a common problem? Is there an upgraded pressure plate or clutch set up?
