I can say from experience that if that tractor is restored mechanically (engine rebuild, new driveshaft, rearend seals, gaskets, front wheel bearings, mechanical parts of mower, etc), as well as cosmetically, that he probably has between $1350 and $1800 in it. It's up to you to decide if it's worth that. The value of a restored tractor doesn't really depend on how many others of the same model there are in the area. Odds are there's a huge difference in condition. I wouldn't say those prices are crazy. Having refurbished a tractor, I'd say that's pretty reasonable if it was done well. When I sold my 100, someone got 300+ hours of my time for about $50....

I wouldn't pay that for that tractor because 1) I'm not really into 125s and 2) I'd rather do all the work myself...:biggrin2.gif:
