105 welcome back to the dark side. Grease for the CV joints, I use Mobil1 but I do grease them a couple times a year. So far no issues. Shut down, I let them cool down a bit then I pull the choke at the same time that I turn the key off, no back fires. My 2284 will back fire even with the fuel shut down solenoid if I don't do it this way.
On a side note it seems that the once maligned Cyclops are getting a whole lot of respect lately. Nice to see people realize what an outstanding tractor they are. I like to think of them as the last of the best.
