xtreme motorworks has an extended sleeve hitch adapter that should clear your current drawbar. You'll need a longer lift pin as well, but they have everything you need. I got a similar setup to clear the tiller angle gear box on the back of my 149. But, to be honest, there is some value to the ability to raise and lower the ball hitch as Jeff in PA shows: back up to your trailer, raise the ball to engage the hitch, pull the trailer, drop it where you want. don't even have to get out of the seat! But either way, an extended hitch adapter should work fine for what you want to do. I think it's xtrememotorworks.com.
