Then yes, if you were pulling a Suburban up a slight grade this would lead me to believe that you snapped a spirol pin. If I was you Id crawl under there, pound BOTH spirol pins out, replace with new, and be done with it. The pins can be bought at Cub Cadet or Case IH. Don't use roll pins; you'll break them off very quickly, especially if you keep pulling Suburbans.
