well the fitting on the bottom of tank hit by a little over a inch. with fittings removed i set tank back on fram with cast rear in place if i would of have top cover on at the time i would only have 1/8 or just slightly more of clearence so i found well plugs and plug holes. sorry no pic yet but i will move fuel fitting to front driver side of tank i already map out how to do this . i am just waiting on painter to get off his rear and blow some paint. he promised that he will paint fram and rearend tomarro. then start on rest .if you do not have rear pto this would go real fast even faster if you was not going to repaint ..i could of haved this done in one weekend if it wasn't for me having to paint things and make them look like new. go for the cast rear.you could use pump from rear from doner . and just bolt in and go. just make sure you get the front hanger bracket cause the ones from alum. will not work on cast. also i think you would be geared just a little higher but i donot think you could see any differentce. well have pic when i put back togather. that is when the family will get interested. and the camra come out. till then it just a hunk of junk to them.
