Weed eater? Was no such thing when I was a young'un. Corn knife!
Anyway, I started with a push mower. Then pa bought a used 76 and I thought I was walking on high cotton, had the world by the butt! Used to take about four hours with the rider, a lot longer with the push
1992 I bought a brand new CC 1330 LT (I KNOW IT'S NOT A REAL ONE) and I average about 100 hrs. a year = 2100 total, up until 2010 when I picked up my first real IH tractor.
Now I use them at times, but still use the LT the most. Plenty of seat time, but old school is anyone's definition.
