Thank you for your replies. My friend thought the rear PTO was only available on SGTs. Interesting that the fuel tank would have had to be part of the PTO installation to accomodate the PTO drive shaft. If that is done as a retrofit, (SGT hydro into GT) isn't that the transplant involving a gear ratio change? Mine seems to have quite normal ground speeds so I assume the gearing is correct.
With respect to the real axle assembly, if my gearing is correct with the SGT hydro does that imply that I could swap the complete rear axle without concern for the gear ratio? Can you think of any modifications that would be required to simply swap one for the other including internals?
