Thumbs up rainy day in the shop

Well with the rain today looked like a day to get some cub work done on the 1811 and the new 1872. With my little buddy and future cub mechanic Grandson overseein the work we got a lot done.

I had a pin in the driveshaft break and didnt have time to wait on new ones, so we took out the shaft and replaced all the pins with bolts and lock nuts. then as we are about done he shows me I slid the fan on backwards so we had to take it out again and turn it around.

He made sure and double checked all the bolts and it all went together well and runs smooth.

the project on the 1872 is going slowly, I have the motor back in and all bolted up. tried to start it today and the starter died on us. so we got it off and ready to put a new one on to try again in a few days.
