Isn't that lift button screwed to the top of the internal rod?
I tried to remove the roll pin through the lift arm casting (holding it to the rockshaft) but without much luck. If I get a replacement arm, I can cut it off if I can't drill the pin out. I do have a couple solid carbide drill bits I haven't tried yet...

Looked up the lift for a 108 on the Cub parts site. The button is screwed to the rod. Can you get the rod out of the arm from the bottom?
