I get to use all kinds of decks to mow with I think the biggest thing is getting them setup right 1st is not level like most guys will tell you its best to have 1/4in nose drop that way you are not getting any recutting on the back side of blade 2nd is sharp blades as far as which deck I like the best is I like the newer 48 54 gt decks they just power thru the high stuff the other thing is with the gt decks lots of times they are running 20hp +
