I used the super 1872 and 450 snowblower to whittle the 30"+ of snow we got over the last 2 days. But 1st had to send 1/2 the day making new longer lift brackets and a manual lift for it. But those threads are elsewhere. the thing sticking up from the tractor with the orange flag is my improvised manual lift for the blower. I sheared the lift arm and end of the rockshaft off my tractor last snow running down the hill in the picks with my plow. I hit something immovable under the snow at speed. Also flags on the drift cutters so I can see them better.
What I saw when I opened the garage door.
1st look up the drive.
Most of these pics were taken BEFORE I found out that I was only turning the left side screw of the blower. I had a broken shear pin. Once I replaced that look out. Man will this thing throw it. It works so much better when the whole thing is turning.
Ginger is about the size of a lab. Just a little bit of snow.
This is the hill at the beginning of our neighborhood private road. 3-4/10 of a mile long. A neighbor cleaned this this am. I went over and open everything up some. I usually do most of the plowing.
Looking down the same hill with my neighbors(BIL) dog. scene of the shattered rockshaft.
