Drive rivets are permanent. Read the description on the page. I don't understand how destroying the fastener every time I want to remove the tunnel cover is better than just using the screws it came with (which are #12-24, incidentally, if by some miracle you have a tractor that hasn't had the holes in the frame for the screws completely destroyed).

Those plastic screws are too flimsy. I doubt you'd even be able to install them without breaking them. I have never seen a tunnel cover that fit the frame properly. All I have had needed to be attached with two of the screws, and then I had to push/pull on one side to get the holes to line up. That will shear off the plastic screws and is also probably why the original screw holes get so messed up in the first place; it's nearly impossible to at least one or two of the screws without side-loading it as it's being installed. In fact, most of my tractors have had such ill-fitting tunnel covers that I've only used 2 or 3 of the 4 screws to hold them in.
