No, not LED. And you are correct, they usually are 15A. My engine has been replaced with a M18 and I think it must have the 20A charging system on it. I put the lights on before I knew the charging system was only supposed to be 15A. I put them on 10yrs ago, and haven't had any charging problems
I have checked the charging system with all the lights and PTO on and it just does make 12V.... Like 12.3-12.6. I don't care, I like them.
