i don't really understand the need for power steering, please explain. My 1810 has very light (not power) steering with a 46" deck. On the other hand, my brand X 16hp Gilson with a 48" deck has very heavy front end and steering that could definitely use power assist. Is the Onan that much heavier than the Kohler M18 in the 1810, or is it attachments other than a deck that require power steering???
