Still Waiting for Repair After 2 Weeks
The local Cub Cadet dealer (Country Homes Power Equipment) finally got around to diagnosing my GT2550's transmission. The hydraulic pump has failed, and the tractor only has 130 hours on it! They called Cub Cadet to see whether the 5-Year Limited Warranty covered the (supposedly) durable Shaft Drive Transmission -- they refused to cover it. So, I'm left with the repair bill.
I'll never buy another Cub Cadet again -- it's a POS. They won't back a defective product:
1) Seat mounting bracket broke.
2) Cylinder ignition coil failed.
3) Hydraulic pump failed.
