The plate is stock cub. It was on the tractor when I bought it. The ball pintle I had laying around off one of my trucks. I wanted to be able to move my trailers in tight places without getting the truck involved every time. Makes it real easy to back the bass boat around.
The plate doesn't bolt to the diff(aluminum diff). It bolts in 4 places to the rear frame rails. The hitch itself will hold many tons of trailer. The tractor will not. But I have no problem moving 1,500lbs + with it. Last I looked you could get the hitch from TSC. They are $85 to $100 and come with various ball sizes. Mine was 1 7/8 but I bought a replacement 2" ball for it from a trailer place(special ball for these hitches). All my trailers are now 2" ball including my log splitter except the m416 that's a lunette ring for the pintle. Just easier that way. Here are some pics that might help.
this guy here sells a similar rear plate and some hitches.
