Those clips are not c clips. Proper terminology is E clips. Popular terminology of these buggers is Aw Jeez clips as that is what is most often said when those little things go flying. Yes I also believe that they are 3/16. I just bought about a half dozen more of them. I should have one in nearly every inaccessable corner of my garage too.
