The 148R is running. Had to swap out the fixed jet Walbro for an adjustable jet Walbro to get it running. Not sure what the problem was with the other carb.
Took it out around the driveway to verify clutch, brakes, gears and creeper operation., Everything seems to be working as it should.
I've managed to totally destroy two PTO fiber buttons. They just melted in a couple minutes. I've had others do the same thing before--self destruct in a few minutes--while others seem to last years. What's up with that?
