Kohler rings or aftermarket chrome
im rebuilding my engine and so far have used all kohler parts. the rings that came in my kit were kohler cast iron ones and the top one is broke. im having a hard time getting the seller to replace it and a new kohler set is around $70. are the aftermarket chrome rings from rotary and stens any good? would i be cheating myself by using a non kohler part in this engine? if aftermarket is as good or better than the cast iron ring which is a better manufacturer to go with? this is on a k341AQS with the old style piston.
