In order for me to get a straight hit on the punch, I needed to first release the bail on the implement lift lever, as I have spring assist and needed the push/dozer blade lift rod removed.

Small, light hits on the punch were many. I feared to crack the spiral pin and was extra careful. Tap- tap- tap and the spiral pin was seated flush, as when I removed it.


Next was to grease the newly seated axel.
