OK I think you have the wrong pulley on the deck, sounds like you have a late style pulley on an early deck. Deck will turn slow with what you have. I think the PO has this poor tractor a bit screwed up, just my 2 cents. Anyway I have an early style deck pulley that I will sell you cheap cause I had to go the other way with my early deck on my 2182. Shoot me a PM if you want it. If you go that way then we can work on the proper belt length.
