I'd play her game, say that getting rid of all the old Cub stuff is a great idea and take to the JD or Bota dealer and price out a nice shinny new JD1026R or BX2670 with all the tools you need to do what the Cubs now do. Gonna guess it will be around $16,000.00 then she will probably re-think the issue.
