Ceicil, isn't that like getting rid of your Johnson to keep from getting an STD? I added PS to my 1811 and cannot imagine going back to Popeye arms again. If you really want to do this I am sure there are a whole bunch of guys who are waiting to offer your their manual steering system in an exchange. I put mine in last year and have not had a leak since. Maybe you have some hose problems that could be solved for just a few hours work and a few dollars.
