Seems like over time the water settles out. My 1811 never sits outside, and I have to suck the water off the bottom of the tank every so often. I run a lot of gas through it, but the tank/port design doesn't let the bottom inch or so of gas out. For some reason water settles out. When I run the tank low, I shine a flashlight in and I can see it.
But I agree, it seems to imulsify in the ethonal. I hate that.
