correct, but you would be sucking intake through the muffler which could be removed. not sure if that will tell you what you want to know because of intake and exhaust opening and closing would be backwards. filling the cylinder efficiently is part of compression. if you are going through all that trouble take the cam cover off and unhook the spring on the comp release. just have a good starter to spin it over a starter/gen or a kohler ring gear won't do it .
