My mistake, when I turn the key the starter rotates the engine but there is no combustion to drive the engine. I disconnected the yellow wire and it still didn't start. Took the cover off the carb for inspection but didn't see anything. Used my air compressor to blow out all the orifices, removed the solenoid and cleaned that out too. Used carb cleaner around all orifices and internal to carb. The gasket was missing, so purchased one, and reassembled. Next checked the wire assembly connecting to the magnetos and found that the wire insulation below the diode anode. Used electrical tape to fix it and now in the process of assembling everything back up. Had to do a lot off dis-assembly in order to get to the magnitoes.
