Make sure the fan is not on backward....it's happened before. The air flow should obviously be towards the rear of the tractor. Second someone's note above about crud in the cooling fins, use a popsicle stick or similar and go to town. When I cleaned up the hydro for my 147, I had a huge pile of greasy dirt in the shop floor, they can hold a ton of buildup.
