Good luck. Your in for a big mod process. Seen lots of people start a mod like that and give up. I was measuring a 1000 I have the other day. Got a diesel I'd like to put in it.... frame isn't long enough, no room for a fuel tank... Oh, it can be done, but..... HEADACHES. Now, if you have an 82 series, or newer that was offered in diesel, then it wouldn't be so bad.
