I checked the circuit for the fuel shut down solenoid, I have 12 volts in run and crank positions of the switch.

I disconnected the kill wire that goes to the ignition (white wire), so the engine should have run if the problem was caused by a safety interlock switch, but if it was a bad switch, I would think the engine would not even crank....
Anyway, I sure appreciate the help, I finally admitted defeat and called the dealer to pick the machine up. When I find out what the problem was, I will post it here.
