it could be the original deck, have not investigated that far yet, i checked the serial number, it was built june 67, so it's a later 123.
my 71 and 100 have the cast iron ended deck (the 71 deck is on the 72, going to use the 42" on the 71 with a 12hp repower)
my 71 serial number must be where it is stamped on the 100 because there is no tag on the back of the rear and no evidence that there ever was, i know it;s the original tras cause my grandfather bought it brand new.
