If it were mine and the terminal on the bottom isn't "marked" I would pull the cover off of it and find out if the terminal on the bottom is a ground or if it is connected to something on the inside.
If it is not a ground that wire should go to the solenoid (and then on to the "A" terminal on the S/G).
