It is possible to install a creeper gear without spliting the tractor but unless you have two elbows on one arm the job is so much easier when you can get to the front of the tranny. If you currently do not have a creeper on the tractor you have to alter i.e. shorten or replace the driveshaft because the creeper requires a shorter driveshaft.
