Well good news. I finally got the 1211 with the k301 started! I checked the ignition switch over again found the black wire was loose, so I soldiered it and reinstalled it. I think I have a battery going bad, so I jumped it with my pickup and got it started! I drove it around a bit, my first hydro, man that thing will get up and move! It ran awhile then died like it ran out of gas. I didn't have time to work on it anymore so rolled it back inside. When I jumped it, I feed the jumper cables under the front of the seat, does the seat need to be down to start it or can it be up when you jump it? Thanks to Roland a J-Mech for helping me with this, I knew it was something simple like a bad wire!
