well I looked around on the tractor today and saw fluid leaking down the suction tube. well low and behold the hydro linkage has been hitting the suction tube and wore a hole in to it
( what is weird is when I moved the linkage around I had about 1/4" clearance)
any way as a temporary fix I cleaned up the line and applied some jb weld over the affected area
I do plan on something more as a real fix but this should work for now
