I don't know if this is your question, but you need the creeper housing (with gears in it of course), and a small gear that you put on the transmission input shaft. Look at a few past ebay auctions and you'll see what I mean.

If you can find one that comes with the shortened clutch assembly, you'll be able to go back to a non-creeper cub if you would like.

*edit-I'm not sure on prices, but between $150 and $200 sounds about right, a bit more if it comes with the shortened clutch assembly (in good shape). May be able to find a better deal on craigslist locally. Just make sure it comes with the small gear for the transmission input shaft or the creeper gear won't work at all. (/edit)

As far as I know the creeper gear for the narrow frame and wide frame is the same, but have different handles. I think the wide frame have long handles and longer breather tubes.

The creeper gear for the original looks very different and won't work at all on a narrow frame. Usually they go for $250
