I dunno if they put that on the outside of things or not. May be, but I can't imagine for the price of that stuff IH would have put it on any more than needed it. I don't ever even remember the cub transmissions having it on the inside. But IH's big tractors did. If that is what it is, I've seen motors and transmissions that were coated with it and my jet tank wouldn't even take it off. I've even seen a caustic tank not take it off. It's good stuff!!!!
