Hey all,
I've been threatening to start on my Original for some time. The kids were off from school and the weather cooperated, so I figured it was time. We bought the tractor for my youngest son since the older son and I use my other "O" for pulling. Son #2 doesn't really want to pull, just look cool riding it around.
There's a show coming up in January and we'd love to have the tractor done in time for that event. So, we started on it today. We both had a great time and the little guy learned "Lefty, loosey, righty, tighty!" What more does he need to know!
As it stands, the frame is in primer and we'll be working on the rear end tomorrow or the next day. Now, this ISN'T a nut-and-bolt restoration or rebuild, but more of a "let's make this thing presentable so he'll look cool on it!" kind of endeavor. There will be some sanding, sand-blasting, painting and of course, CLEANING. Anyways, here's the pics for today.
