The only spot where there was some real rust was on the dash tower, and since I had that off already before and replaced the rusty bolts with new ones, everything came apart really well. Even the steering wheel popped right off, no puller needed!
I'm not sure what paint we'll use on it yet. I've not had very good luck with the "new stuff" that Tractor Supply has in stock, but I'm not sure what else might be found locally.
The TS stuff is pretty sturdy, and shines nice when dry, but we had some issues with sags and some funny happenings while it was still wet.
