Thanks guys!!! Took it apart today to check head and valves because of no compression.
Well my worst case option was the answer. Piston rod is broken. Piston does not move and wont push down. Was really hoping for a bad head gasket or junk under valve. SOOOOO... Sprayed a bunch of PB Blast on piston, valves and head bolts. Put head back on and snugged up the bolts, put all the bolts in a baggie and marked it. Put an extra 2 quarts of oil in crank case. Pushing it to the side of the garage for now. Not going to tear into it more at this point. Got to get garage cleaned out anyway. I would like to rebuild it now but probably have to wait. No biggie. I have it. That's all I care about any way. I am really hoping my 1250 motor makes it through the winter sense its my blower tractor. It gets rebuilt in spring. Full overhaul. Then I will move on to the 1450 after it gets done.
Take care everyone!!
