I am by no means an expert, but I beleive sn oil bath sir cleaner works something like this: the air comes in the top of the aircleaner assy, and is spun around by fins that direct it to do so. The air travels down, and the tube it travels down, ends a very small distance from the oil in the bottom. The air must go under the bottom of the tube at very high speed, and that combined with the centrifical force of the spinning, forces all the contaminents into the oil, while the clean air travels back up to the carburetor/intake manifold. The only oil air filter I have ever seen is on a IH B-414 we had a couple years ago. I am pretty sure that is how it works
