Thanks guys. I need all the encouragement I can get. My ADD typically gets me 90% through a project before I go to something else. I am determined on this one though. ALVY, thanks for your interest. I do my own work. I typically take on projects like this to learn something I didn't know. This typically ends up with me learning from my friend who is a member of the forum, JaynJeep. This project started as a rust hole in the gas tank and a need to learn to solder. No more hole led to a complete rebuild and what you see above. I didn't turn the Crankshaft journal because it was within tolerances. I didn't see any point in wasting good metal. I did face the counterweight to add extra weight for balance. I used the kit from kirkengines.com. Verdict is still out on how well it decreased vibration since I haven't finished assembly of the tractor.
