I mounted one of these on my other tractor as a utility light. I can say that while it would be much cheaper, I think it would be much more difficult finding a way to secure them in the hole, and above all, the most important thing is the light produced and I can tell you the Pep Boy lights are very bright. Harbor freight light is about like the cub sealed beam.
