I just finished a QA42A box and there are 2 bearings and one seal at the end of each shaft. So, If you are going to O/H the box you will need 2 inners, 2 outers and 2 seals.

The inners are open face rollers that should 1st be packed before installation.
I used wheel bearing grease for that as well as in the gear box itself. The seal goes between the inner and outer bearing. The outers are sealed bearings.

I chose to go with parts from IH Case instead of aftermarket stuff which would no doubt be cheaper. Here are some #s for reference. These are for the QA42 but should be the same for others, you will have to do your own research here.
